About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 4 driver to join our team in Ashburton. As a key member of our waste collection team, you will be responsible for operating industry-specific trucks, adhering to health and safety standards, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate company trucks to collect refuse and recycling.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure all vehicles are roadworthy.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and take regular breaks as required.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and vehicle usage.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Clean Class 4 licence (or above).
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety and NZTA's Worktime and Logbook requirements.
- Reasonable level of physical fitness and motivation to maintain a healthy lifestyle while working.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety principles.
