Join our team as a Mental Health Practitioner
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Tiverton Core Adult Mental Health Team at Tiverton Community Hospital. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement Care Pathways associated with psychologically informed interventions.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include assessing individuals without referral from primary care colleagues, outlining management plans and delivering interventions independently. You will also work on a time-limited capped caseload of individuals receiving direct care and contribute to developing a mental health response across the Primary Care Network (PCN).
Requirements
- Minimum of 60 credits at post-graduate level in a relevant subject
- Post-basic qualification in speciality Application Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
- Current registration with the NMC and no restrictions
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
This role requires a strong understanding of Community Mental Health Service Framework transformation, as well as awareness of challenges and legal frameworks in delivering mental health within primary care. If you possess high-level communication skills and are able to travel across Devon and other locations, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
