We are seeking a Packaging Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Future Recruitment Ltd. Based in Staffordshire/Derbyshire, this exciting opportunity will see you supporting the business with quality assurance procedures, environmental impacts, and health and safety compliance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all quality assurance procedures are followed and managed effectively. You will also be tasked with controlling and managing environmental impacts related to the business, establishing best practices, and coordinating BRCGS auditing.

  • Manage and coordinate BRCGS audits, addressing non-conformances and ensuring site compliance.
  • Support document control, corrective and preventive action, and trend analysis.
  • Work with site representatives to manage quality management and operating procedures, including hygiene operations, allergen management, and pest control.
  • Accountable for completing internal audits to support compliance assurance, audits, and risk objectives.

In addition, you will create a Safety Management System to ensure incidents and accidents are reported and addressed promptly. The ideal candidate will have IOSH training and experience in health and safety risk assessments, as well as a background in H&S and BRC audits.

Requirements
  • iOSH trained with experience in health and safety risk assessments.
  • Background in H&S and BRC audits.
  • Experience of BRCGS and managing the system.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan and prioritize tasks on own initiative.
  • IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to report and investigate quality issues.
About the Role
