Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role as part of the Quay Recruit team, where you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing environment for young people to grow and develop.

The estimated salary for this position is £24,500 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing positive relationships with young people, based on trust, respect, and understanding.
  • Participating in the planning and delivery of recreational and social programs to promote emotional security and personal growth.
  • Maintaining accurate records of young people's progress and development.

You will be working in a residential setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of young people at all times. This includes performing sleeping-in duties as required and acting as a driver or escort for trips to school, activities, and shopping excursions.

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, patience, and understanding. You will be responsible for promoting socially acceptable standards of behavior and providing guidance and counseling to young people as needed.
