Job Title: Commis Chef

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our team at Exclusive Hotels and Venues. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of kitchen operations, including food services and functions throughout the day.
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant laws and legislation regarding food handling, storage, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Follow recipe guidelines and standards set by Senior Chefs.
  • Contribute to the production of innovative menu designs for functions and food services.
  • Monitor and control the quality of commodities used in food production.
  • Provide flexible and accommodating catering services for Spa members and guests.

Requirements

  • A passion for food and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic kitchen and knife skills.
  • A good understanding of health and safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
  • Innovation, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
