Qualified Emergency Care Assistant (ECA) for Bank/Overtime Contract Opportunities

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current Internal Front-line Qualified Paramedics
  • Former Front-Line Paramedics who have left the trust within the last 30 days from the application submission date.

Applicants must hold a valid UK manual driving license with a minimum of one year of driving experience (up to three penalty points permitted for minor driving offenses).

Health Standards:
Candidates should be aware that the East of England Ambulance Service adheres to the Department of Health Medical Advisory Panel's guidelines regarding health standards for frontline emergency response roles. Please refer to the DVLA Assessing fitness to drive guide for comprehensive information.

Background Check:
This position involves regulated activity and will require an enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with child and adult barred list screening.

References and Employment Verification:
All references will be obtained from current and previous employers through their Human Resources Department, covering a minimum of three years of employment. Therefore, when completing the reference section of your application, please provide the contact details of the Human Resources Department, including the necessary information for your current/previous line manager.

All appointments are contingent upon maintaining a clean disciplinary record.
