Buyer - Womenswear

Quest Search and Selection Ltd is currently working with a leading supplier in the fashion and footwear industry. They are looking for a Buyer to join their Womenswear team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Junior Merchandiser to source, develop, and deliver a commercially focused and well-balanced product range.
  • Develop ranges to maximize sales and profit aligned to brand market position and value.
  • Exceed customer expectations by delivering a consistent, commercial, and well-balanced range and attending sign-off meetings.
  • Work as part of a team with merchandising, design, and QA.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and factories directly to manage margins and establish long-term relationships.
  • Build effective working relationships across the business and develop team members at a BAA/AB level.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate has 3+ years of Buying experience in a junior buyer or buyer role.
  • Experience in fashion, accessories, or footwear is preferred, but other categories will be considered.
  • Previous involvement in design and development buying is required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills are essential.

  • Must be willing to relocate or commute to the Lancashire/Cumbria/Scottish region.
