Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Solicitor - Renewable Energy

At Iconic Resourcing, we are proud to represent one of the leading renewable energy companies in the industry. Our client has a significant development portfolio and high ambitions for growth across onshore wind, solar, grid services, and hydrogen projects within the UK.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Solicitor to join their established Team and to help deliver on these strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and negotiate land rights for various renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Work with external consultants, contractors, land agents, and legal advisors, coordinating efforts to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, developers, and other industry professionals.
  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial real estate matters, including lease negotiations, property acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that the company remains compliant and takes advantage of new opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in law and fully qualified Scottish or English Solicitor.
  • Experience: 3+ years PQE with proven experience in property law, ideally specifically within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous professional development.
