We are seeking a reliable and committed individual to work as a manual note taker for students living with disabilities at the University of Suffolk. This rewarding part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in a student's life.
About the RoleThis position involves providing essential support to students with disabilities by taking accurate and legible notes during lectures, seminars, and group tasks. You will review the notes at the end of each lecture to ensure they are in a suitable format for the student to access effectively.
Requirements- Able to produce clear and concise notes with good handwriting
- Punctual and reliable with excellent time management skills
- Good organizational skills and understanding of role boundaries
- Flexible working hours
- 28 days holiday pay pro rata
- £11.44 per hour
- Opportunities to work flexibly depending on the student's timetable
