IT Infrastructure Specialist

Undisclosed, a highly acclaimed Retail organisation, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their team based in Blackburn. With sites across the UK and Europe, this role offers a prestigious opportunity for an IT professional to contribute to the company's success story.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure changes are planned and implemented in a structured and assured way.
- Testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
- Actioning alerts generated by monitoring systems in a timely manner.
- Supporting the IT Service Desk function.
- Office 365/Exchange online.
- Networking knowledge (LAN, IPv4, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Managed Switches, VLANs).
- PowerShell or other scripting language/automation methods.
- Windows Server.
- Windows (7, 10).
- Linux/Unix administration experience - desired but not essential.
