About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Production Assistant to join our team at Kepak Group. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for packing meat products efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the food production industry and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Physical strength and stamina are also required to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy packages.

Responsibilities:
  • Pack meat products in accordance with specific instructions and procedures
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
  • Monitor the quality of products, identifying and reporting any defects or issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Operate packaging machinery and tools, ensuring proper function and maintenance

This is a full-time contract position with a competitive salary range of £11.94-£14.42 per hour, based on competency assessments.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the food production industry
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive tasks
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
