Equipment Services Assistant

About the Role
As a clinical support specialist, you will provide timely installation and collection of community equipment and wheelchairs, delivering a high-quality rapid service for patients.
You will work well both independently and as part of a team, being flexible and adaptable to change while keeping the client at the centre of their care episode.
Key responsibilities include liaising with clinicians, therapists, carers, and other services, providing compassionate communication with patients and families regarding equipment provision.
You will also be responsible for decontamination experience, working in an environment with potential contact with bodily fluids, exposure to unclean/untidy/cluttered home environments, and manual cleaning equipment.
Requirements
- Fully qualified to provide equipment support services in the NHS, possessing basic numeracy and literacy skills, and basic computer skills.
- Essential qualifications include a Full UK driver's licence, moderate computer skills, awareness of general health & safety issues when in stores and technical/engineering environments, and ability to compassionately communicate with patients and families.
- Demonstrable transferrable experience to the equipment stores environment is required, including public facing roles, warehouse experience, and decontamination experience, along with good communication skills, time management, and ability to work independently.
- A Full-time salary ranging between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience.
