Pearson BTEC International Qualifications Trainer Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified trainer to deliver full-day and online qualification-based courses internationally for Pearson BTEC International Qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, ensuring that all objectives are met, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training sessions in English and Arabic, communicating verbally and in writing in both languages.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials, ensuring consistency with Pearson and regulator standards.
  • Manage own time and travel arrangements, with all travel expenses covered by Pearson.
  • Complete and submit summary feedback forms for every session delivered, with training session delegate feedback scored consistently within expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience of teaching a Pearson BTEC International Specification.
  • Experience of delivering effective training to adult delegates.
  • Good understanding of qualification and assessment principles.
  • High level of subject knowledge to deliver training.
  • Teaching, administration, assessment, or management experience in the relevant subject and level.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence using laptops, internet, and Microsoft PowerPoint, with demonstrable experience of using technology to support training delivery.
  • Ability to manage the learning and development of a range of teaching professionals.
  • Positive attitude towards all forms of feedback.
  • Commitment to own professional development.
  • Representation of Pearson appropriately while delivering training according to contractual terms and conditions.
