About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our Digital Trading team at Gazprom Energy. As a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trading opportunities and trends in the energy markets. You will work closely with traders and other team members to develop and refine algorithmic trading strategies using Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of market data to identify trading opportunities and trends
  • Build and refine models to optimize trading strategies
  • Collaborate with traders and other team members to develop and refine algorithmic trading strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trading strategies and make adjustments as needed
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, especially energy markets
  • Experience with data analysis and modeling working with large datasets
  • Strong team player with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Effective multi-tasker with great written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Python skills and background in statistics and probability theory
