About the Position:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Family Intervention Advisor to work on an innovative project aimed at supporting young people who have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse.

This project focuses on delivering a comprehensive and bespoke support package for young people, enabling them to build on their strengths and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed support package for the child/young person, identifying goals and aspirations
  • Facilitate group programmes, 1-2-1 mentoring, and/or support with children and young people between the ages of 5-16
  • Support families in identifying and addressing issues relating to their children and supporting positive parenting and healthy relationships

Requirements:

  • Hold a SafeLives IDVA training certificate, or a relevant degree, or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential
  • Have an understanding of domestic violence and abuse, including its impact on victims and their children

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £25.53 per hour, based on a 35-hour week, and benefits include a generous annual leave package, pension, life assurance, employee assistance program, flexi working, paid company sick pay and emergency dependent leave, and real living wage employer status.
