Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team for 12 months. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has excellent communication skills.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing queries from internal and external parties, and adhering to contractual obligations. You will also have the opportunity to work with Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely processing of invoices, including inputting, coding, and PO matching
  • Manage queries from internal and external parties via telephone and email
  • Adhere to contractual obligations, particularly legal and regulatory requirements
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook and Excel
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge of basic accounting techniques and principles
  • Knowledge of ORACLE accounting package
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (to include English and Maths grade C)
  • Experience in a commercial high-volume department
