Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Compliance and Verification Engineer to join our team at Rullion. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the creation of embedded software and FPGA development, verification, and release processes in line with ECSS standards and requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement software verification plans and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with ECSS standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-reliability software and FPGA code.
  • Conduct source code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and ECSS requirements.
  • Generate test plans and procedures to verify software and FPGA deliveries meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Participate in hands-on testing and verification of FPGA and software deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of high-reliability coding standards, preferably MISRA or equivalent.
  • Experience with development standards used in Space, Aerospace, or Defence, preferably ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of ensuring compliance across the full software development life cycle.
  • Ability to verify robust high-reliability software.
