About the Role

UCB is seeking a Data Governance & Digital Solutions Lead to champion our data strategy, focusing on governance, cataloging, and search capabilities. This role will collaborate closely with IT to implement and support digital solutions, driving the success of UCB's data initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of digital solutions aligned with the Data Office Strategy.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to design and build innovative products that enhance data capabilities.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to deliver comprehensive, cross-functional solutions.
  • Contribute actively to team planning, action item development, and effective communication strategies.
  • Participate in the Digital Cultural initiative, promoting a data-driven culture within UCB.
  • Take ownership of platform development and lifecycle management, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the solution delivery process.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives to successful completion.
  • Expertise in data governance platforms, such as Collibra, and a deep understanding of data cataloging principles.
  • Knowledge of workflow tools and engines, enabling the automation of data processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
  • A track record of successfully implementing new systems and driving organizational change initiatives.
  • Genuine interest in emerging technologies and their potential to improve patient outcomes.
