Aircraft Maintenance Planner Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team at Gama Aviation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the full life cycle planning process of base maintenance, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and within-budget delivery of aircraft inputs across our UK sites. This role requires strong knowledge of Part 145/M regulations and experience of MRO planning software, although this is not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation industry practices and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be able to develop and implement operational processes to ensure efficient operational performance and provide exceptional customer service and client contact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-input planning, work pack generation, check progression, and work pack closure processes.
  • Liaise daily with customers to provide status reports on aircraft serviceability.
  • Collaborate with local operational teams to ensure smooth departmental running.
  • Participate in quality audits and ensure audit closure actions are implemented.
  • Report all SMS/Quality issues.
  • Provide regular briefings for engineering departmental management.
  • Support the Quality & Safety team in fulfilling their duties.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
