Transport UK London Bus is seeking an innovative and self-starting individual to join our Engineering team as an Advanced PSV Technician. This role offers an attractive salary of nearly £52k per year, with the potential for voluntary overtime to boost earnings.

The successful candidate will work a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off at Southall Depot, providing ample time for personal activities outside of work. As part of our busy and dynamic bus industry, this position involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of modern high-tech vehicles.

Key responsibilities include investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults, working 12-hour shifts, and meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ level 3 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles, along with current recognised qualifications in hybrid awareness and fault diagnostics.

We offer free travel on all TfL routes for employees and their friends or family members after three months of service. Our contributory pension scheme provides a death-in-service benefit and life insurance, while employee benefits from shops and retailers are also available.
