Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum

About the Role

The Residential Team Manager will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who provide care and support to children and young people in our residential settings. This involves overseeing the daily operations of the service, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead a team of professionals who provide care and support to children and young people in our residential settings
  • To develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the team, taking into account the individual needs and preferences of each child
  • To monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
  • To maintain accurate records of care planning, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation
  • To work closely with other teams within the trust to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced leader who has a proven track record of success in a similar role. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people, and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a children's residential setting, preferably with a leadership or management role
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies affecting the delivery of children's services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, children, and families
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as required
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or education
