About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clinicians throughout a wide range of clinical treatments, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Provide emotional support and understanding to patients undergoing dental treatment, responding to their individual needs and concerns.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient dental surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
  • Manage stock and supplies, including medications, utilities, and stationery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to data protection guidelines.
  • Book patient appointments and provide dental knowledge to advise on patient needs.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Dental Council.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
  • Experience working with elderly, children, and patients with special needs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including experience with dental software.
  • UK driving license and use of a car.
