Electrical Production Engineer Role

As an Electrical Production Engineer at Cavendish Nuclear, you will be part of an experienced and growing team delivering complex engineering support to our projects. Your role will involve producing production planning, risk assessments, and supervising technicians and engineers in assembly, wiring, and test activities on electrical and electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the assembly and wiring of small electronic modules, boxes, and units to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Supervise the assembly of PCBs (Hand soldered through-hole PCB technology) and cable assemblies to IPC Standards, ensuring quality and safety requirements are met.
  • Review and verify test results for Analogue Circuit PCBs and electrical equipment, ensuring testing is conducted in accordance with approved test documentation and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for on-machine wiring of electrical and electronic devices, including cable management and termination.
  • Lead fault investigation and repair efforts for analogue electronics equipment incorporating linear power supplies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a Production / Assembly / Test environment.
  • Security Clearance.
  • Qualifications for Electrical Production Engineer.
