About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf and Group Events Coordinator to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott Breadsall Priory Country Club. As a Golf and Group Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing golf and group events across our cluster of 7 hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to all golf and group event inquiries across various channels for the cluster of 7 hotels
  • Build strong relationships with Golf Wholesales, Sports Agents, and Teams
  • Accurately forecast golf and sport group room, green fee revenue, and catering
  • Proactively cross-reference lead opportunities within the cluster for both these segments or other Marriott properties where appropriate
  • Coordinate all customer requirements, including communication and completing verbally and in writing with the customer the details of an event until handover to the on-property team
  • Execute Marriott Golf Promotional windows and Golf Powerup week events
  • Provide cluster-level support to all hotels as required and requested for the golf and sport segment
  • Training and execution of 59 Club Golf inquiry standards, continually review and agree improvement actions to ensure benchmark percentage is exceeded
  • Ownership for the management and conversion of assigned enquiries from Sports Teams, Wholesale, Society, and Corporate Golf Days (Worsley Park, Tudor Park, Breadsall & St Pierre for Corporate Golf Days only)
  • Whilst the role will predominately be focused on golf and group events, you may be required to support with other event inquiries and bookings
