**Overview of the role**:
**Hours and location: 08.00am - 16.30pm, Mondays to Fridays.**

**The role will be based at Donald Ward House, Ilkeston.**

WARD are looking for a motivated individual to join our Human Resources team. Strong organisational and time management skills, along with great attention to detail are at the heart of the role.

As our HR Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for general HR advice to employees and managers on policies and procedures.

You will also administratively support the HR and Payroll functions covering the whole employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, training records and leaver processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Managing the shared inboxes
- Issuing letters, templates and contracts
- Attending meetings with managers and employees and taking minutes
- Maintaining databases and training records
- Providing sound advice on general people matters, supporting and coaching line managers in line with Ward policies and procedures
- Supporting with some payroll queries and administration
- Contributing to the implementation of HR projects, policies and practices in collaboration with the HR Manager.

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- CIPD qualified, with good knowledge of employment legislation
- Strong team working skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Experience with employee relations issues
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly with notes, reportsand data entry.
- Strong listening and communication skills and excellent telephone manner
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Driving license and own vehicle (essential)
