Home Care Worker

Bluebird Care is seeking a Home Care Worker to join our team in Plymouth and South Hams. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our customers to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
About the Role:
As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for carrying out tasks such as personal care, medication, preparing meals, housekeeping, and companionship. You will work alternate weekends, with flexible shift patterns available, including mornings and evenings. We offer a competitive hourly salary of £15-£16 per hour, with opportunities for career progression and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-quality care to our customers in their own homes
* Assisting with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks
* Preparing meals and providing companionship
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to management
Requirements:
* A Full Driving Licence and reliable transport
* Compassion, kindness, and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work alternately on weekends and flexible shift patterns
