About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Power Generation Engineer to join our team at GAP Group LTD. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of our power services & equipment within the fleet.

As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for traveling across regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment, including Stage V generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable. You will also accurately update service records and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing and maintenance work across regional depots and customer sites
  • Identify and repair faults or damage to equipment, including Stage V generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable
  • Accurately update service records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Generator engineer, with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
  • Sound knowledge of Stage V engines and generators
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A customer-focussed approach and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • A valid driving licence
