Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power Distribution Engineering Technician to join our Lighting & Grid team in the UK Energy Infrastructure Solutions business.

In this role, you will work on various projects, gaining hands-on experience and qualifications over a four-year period. You will learn about all technical aspects of Lighting & Grid and work on exciting projects, developing your skills and knowledge.

You will spend most of your time out and about from your local depot, learning about all technical aspects of Lighting & Grid and working on site-based environments including public highway and construction sites.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution & Transmission
  • Level 2 & 3 NVQ Certificates Highways Electrician & Service Operative, Installation & Maintenance
  • Power Distribution Engineering Cable Jointing qualifications

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £32,000, depending on experience.
