About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Cygnet Hexham Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Carry out daily and weekly cleaning regimes, including laundry and waste management
  • Maintain and replenish stock, and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained
  • Employ safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures
  • Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Requirements

  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic work (desirable)
  • Knowledge of COSHH (desirable)
  • Friendly, conscientious, and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
