Job Summary:

Igloo is seeking a skilled Driver to join our team in Portbury, Somerset. As a key member of our client's operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles within the compound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles to, from, and within large vehicle compounds, including movements between compounds, workshops, and bay parking areas.
  • Oversee specific areas of the vehicle compound, ensuring efficient and safe vehicle movement.
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including small family cars, high-performance cars, and high-value vehicles, with varying transmissions (manual, automatic, semi-automatic, and electric).
  • Conduct pre-move vehicle inspections to report any damage or issues.
  • Work in all weather conditions and wear car-friendly workwear and safety boots.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK driving license for at least 3 years with no more than 6 points for minor offenses.
  • Have previous professional driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Be comfortable driving different makes, models, and sizes of vehicles, including manual and automatic gearboxes.
