Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Logistics Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gist. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods between our depots, warehouses, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods between locations, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Represent Gist in a professional manner, interacting with customers and colleagues in a courteous and respectful manner.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 driving license with at least 18 months of experience.
  • Maximum of 6 endorsements on your driving license, with no accidents in the last 12 months.
  • Manual handling of goods or multi-drop experience is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 CPC units.
