We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our residential property team as a Legal Secretary. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to our Partners and solicitors, ensuring the smooth operation of conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage documentation, opening new matters and files, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide polite and efficient communication with clients, responding to their queries and concerns.
  • Use digital dictation to produce correspondence, forms, and documents, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist with general administrative work, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.

About the Client:

Our client is a reputable law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services. They pride themselves on their commitment to clients, offering a personal and attentive approach to legal matters.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. The role is office-based in Heriot Row, Edinburgh.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, preferably in residential property law.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
