Job Summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Hospital Support Worker to join their domestic services team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our hospitals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain patient areas, including wards, operating theaters, and outpatient departments.
  • Assist staff carrying out maintenance work on existing and new hard and soft floor coverings.
  • Take responsibility for the equipment held within area of work and designated cleaning room.
  • Report any equipment defects and stock shortages to management.
Requirements
  • Essential: Good general education to GCSE standard, prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles.
  • Desirable: NVQ or other recognised cleaning qualification, COSHH Certificate, Health & Safety qualification.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £18,500 - £21,447 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities, as well as access to a range of employee benefits.
