Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Weston-super-Mare. As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in planning and managing a diverse portfolio of clients, running audits from planning to completion, and championing quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with the audit manager to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Run audits from planning to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit regulations.
- Prepare accounts and tax computations within audit engagements, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
- Carry out technical research and present findings clearly and effectively, building strong rapport with clients.
- Deliver a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy.
- Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function.
- Manage your own workload, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities to stay ahead in the field.

- A minimum of two years' experience within UK practice.
- Sound knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
- Working knowledge of tax regulations, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Working knowledge of Sage Accounts and Caseware audit software would be an advantage.
- Resilient and able to multi-task.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally.
