Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Weston-super-Mare. As an Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in planning and managing a diverse portfolio of clients, running audits from planning to completion, and championing quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing a diverse portfolio of clients
- Running audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance
- Preparing of accounts and tax computations within audit engagements
- Carrying out technical research and presenting findings clearly and effectively
- Building strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Delivering a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy
- Keeping up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
- Managing your own workload, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities

Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or equivalent
- A minimum of two years' experience within UK practice
- Sound knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards
- Working knowledge of tax regulations, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting standards
- Working knowledge of Sage Accounts and Caseware audit software would be an advantage
- Resilient and able to multi-task
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team
