Senior Care Assistant/Nurse Support Role

Monarch Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant/Nurse Support to join our team at Haddon House Nursing Home in Clowne, S43.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant/Nurse Support, you will play a vital role in overseeing care delivery, supporting the care and nursing team, and ensuring high standards of care at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate staff to ensure an effective skill mix and oversee the diary for each shift.
  • Communicate with external healthcare professionals, update and write risk assessments and care plans, and ensure staff are aware of any changes.
  • Manage medications, enquire with the pharmacy, GP's, and mental health team as needed.
  • Deliver personal care as appropriate to clients' needs and assist care staff with personal care, fluid and dietary intake, pressure area relief, and checks.
  • Provide care leadership to ensure high standards of care delivery at all times and complete checks for all relevant documentation.
  • Communicate with nurses regularly throughout the shift and produce verbal and written reports as required.
