The Role

We are seeking a Field Engineer to join our team in Leeds, working throughout the UK. As a Field Engineer, you will work with our teams on various wastewater and water projects, installing and maintaining flow monitors, water quality instrumentation, and auto-samplers in sewer pipes and rivers.

Your work will contribute to improving our environment, helping water companies manage their sewer networks, and preventing flooding, pollution, and health risks.


A Day in the Life of a Field Engineer

Your typical day will involve visiting sites to support your Field Crew Leader in setting up equipment safely and carrying out installations, calibrations, or removals. This may involve working in confined spaces or river environments, lifting and carrying equipment.


Requirements

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, with accommodation and meals provided.
  • Ability to work well in a team and with diverse individuals.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to use initiative when faced with challenges.
  • Comfortable working in raw sewage environments and confined spaces.
  • Clean and valid driving license.
  • Right to work in the UK.

We provide full training, so prior experience is not necessary. However, a track record in a similar environment would be beneficial.

Due to the safety-critical nature of the work, successful applicants will undergo drug and alcohol testing prior to start and on a spot-check basis during employment.
