Job Overview

Redstone Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Administration Professional to join their London team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commodity trading and/or shipping, with a strong commercial sense within metals.

We are offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics and Operations: Manage scheduling, letters of credit, bank contracts, bills of exchange, and bills of landing.
  • Contract Monitoring: Execute contracts and address client complaints and issues.
  • Shipping and Invoicing Documentation: Prepare timely documents for metal shipments, ensuring payment collection and cargo release activities for steel, iron ore, pig iron, scrap metals, or other ferrous metals.
  • Banking Liaison: Handle new business requests, payment/finance requests, loans, and documentation such as letters of credit confirmation and discounting.
  • Report directly to the Managing Director.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Commodity Trading and Shipping Environment: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Commercial Sense within Metals: Strong understanding of metal markets, preferably steel, iron ore, pig iron, scrap metals, or other ferrous metals.
  • Invoicing and Documentation: Experience with letters of credit, bills of exchange, and bills of landing.
  • Certificates and Insurance: Knowledge of issuing certificates, including Certificates on Insurance and Certificates of Origin.
  • London-Based: Located in London, UK.
