About the Role:

Mitie Property Services (UK) Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Painting and Decorating Apprentice to join our team in September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preparation works to walls to make good, ready for decoration
  • Carry out internal/external painting and decorating to a high standard
  • Undertake minor repair works
  • Bring any Issues or concerns to the attention of the Line Manager
  • Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) where needed.
  • Use all tools, equipment and materials safely
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, customers and managers

Requirements:

  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Experience of dealing with members of the public, gained through voluntary or paid work experience
  • Must be self-motivated and a good team player
  • Can understand, interpret and follow instructions
  • Strong communication skills
