Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team at Reed, a well-established recruitment company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of our accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales invoices and export into accounting software.
- Issue credit application forms to new customers and obtain proforma payments if required.
- Process credit card payments and handle customer account queries.
- Enter Goods Received onto the system.
- Enter purchase invoices into accounting software, resolving any queries with suppliers and internal staff.
- Collate payroll hours and update staff holidays & absence records.
- Provide administrative support to management & sales team.
- Raise Delivery Notes & Royal Mail paperwork.
- Maintain and file job bags and delivery documentation.
- Generate daily, weekly & monthly reports as requested for Head Office.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Accounts role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Sage 50.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative with workload and task prioritisation.
