About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Community Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Team Lead. This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in providing high-quality patient care while promoting leadership, mentorship, and coaching within our organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care packages for patients, considering clinical, social, and family situations.
  • Exercise accountability for patient care, adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Trust policies.
  • Support the Team Lead and, in their absence, oversee planning and delivery of District Nursing services, prioritizing clinical needs for holistic care.
  • Be accountable for own practice, working independently without direct supervision.
  • Act as an advocate to empower individuals, carers, and families to influence resources and manage risks in patient environments.
  • Promote effective infection control within the nursing team, settings, and patients' homes.
  • Make referrals to other disciplines or agencies.
Job Requirements
  1. Proficient in various competencies, such as compression bandaging and Doppler technology.
  2. Lead, inspire, and motivate others to achieve high performance through clear goals, support, guidance, and development opportunities.
  3. Contribute to creating a culture of engagement where staff are empowered and entrusted to provide excellent services and care.
  4. Promote and facilitate innovation and continuous improvement to deliver better services for service users and patients.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
