Alcedo Care Trafford is seeking a full-time Senior Care Supervisor to strengthen our team in the Trafford office. The successful candidate will receive an estimated £50 per hour, plus holiday pay and pension.

The role involves:

  • Undertaking spot checks on care workers within the field.
  • Supporting ambassadors and completing competency checks.
  • Conducting customer service reviews.
  • Assisting with completing carers' and clients' weekly rotas.
  • Helping with business development.
  • Supervising care services.
  • Providing care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures.
  • Carrying out on-call duties during evenings & weekends on a rota basis.
  • Delivering high-quality care to our customers.
Job Description

This is a split job role, consisting of 20 hours office-based and 20 hours in the community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing effective working relationships with our Care Managers, Care Assessors & Care Coordinators.
  • Maintaining care skills at a current level and undertaking in-house training and development.
  • Monitoring care workers and evaluating their performance.
  • Evaluating standards of care competence across the workforce and highlighting areas that require development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 6 months care experience.
  • At least a Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Professional representation of Alcedo Care.
  • Experience with different computer programmes (training is supplied).
  • Hardworking and flexible nature.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
