Electronics Technician Role

The Electronics Technician will play a key role in the RF, Test and Evaluation Team, focusing on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test and evaluation. This position requires a strong understanding of electronics engineering principles, including analogue and digital electronics, and experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analysers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test plans
  • Set up and operate test equipment, including digital oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analysers
  • Deliver detailed test reports and provide technical support to customers
  • Work on a variety of projects, including design, implementation, and test of electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet business and customer requirements
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship at NVQ level 3 and/or an HNC/D in an electrical/electronics discipline
  • Strong interest and/or experience in Radio Frequency (RF) design and testing
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment and electronic systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
