Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary
The Humber and North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, aims to create a single procurement function to support the sustainable provision of clinical and non-clinical services.
This role is based at Scarborough General Hospital and involves working as a Supply Chain Operative to coordinate the provision of procurement services, ensuring the cleanliness, security, and safety of equipment and stock throughout the Trust.
Main Duties
Responsibilities include stocking clinical and non-clinical areas with products, maintaining stock rotation to minimize wastage, and scanning to reorder stock against agreed levels. The successful candidate will work within clearly defined procedures, using their own initiative on routine matters and referring to the site lead when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the provision of procurement services to support the Trust's objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and reorder stock as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective customer-focused service is provided.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
