Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary
The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operative to join its team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Trust's objective of creating a single procurement function.
Main Duties of the Job
As a Supply Chain Operative, you will be responsible for coordinating the provision of procurement services, ensuring the cleanliness, security, and safety of equipment and stock throughout the Trust. You will work within clearly defined procedures, using your own initiative on routine matters and referring to the site lead when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Stocking clinical and non-clinical areas with products delivered, maintaining stock rotation to minimize wastage and scanning to reorder stock against agreed stock levels.
- Working to ensure an efficient and effective customer-focused service is provided for all staff across the site, enabling them to deliver excellent patient care.
- Collaborating with the site lead to resolve any issues or concerns related to procurement services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
