We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team at Bay View Childcare in Carnforth. The successful candidate will work on a casual basis, covering shifts as needed, and will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare to children aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People and have excellent communication skills. They must also be over 21 years of age and hold a full UK driving license. We offer a competitive salary of £11.52 per hour and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standard of childcare is provided to the children in your care. This includes creating a safe, secure, and supportive environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and educational well-being.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of individual care plans, participate in activities with the children, and maintain regular communication with parents and carers. You will also be expected to adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality.
