Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Unplanned Care Therapy Team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across our busy A&E and Assessment areas, including frailty at the front door.

The post holder will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, as well as providing training and development opportunities for junior staff. They will also participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of therapy services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide training and development opportunities for junior staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Contribute to the development of therapy services

Requirements

  • Graduate Diploma or BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification recognized by HCPC
  • HCPC registration
  • Appropriate experience as a qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Core Rotations as a Band 5 Therapist in a range of core areas
