Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Unplanned Care Therapy Team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in our busy A&E and Assessment areas.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, maintaining accurate records, and supervising junior staff members. They will also participate in training and development activities, contribute to departmental audit and research, and provide senior therapy support to other teams.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of our Unplanned Care Services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a Graduate Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and relevant experience in a similar role. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
