Lead the Development of Business Systems for a Leading UK Estate Agency

Connells Group, a prominent player in the UK property market, seeks a skilled Senior C++ Application Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote and office collaboration, allowing you to contribute to the development, support, and enhancement of critical business systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and build secure, high-performing n-tier applications adhering to best practices in SQL database development.
  • Seamlessly integrate internal and third-party systems using diverse methodologies.
  • Implement robust coding practices aligned with established development standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow Application Developers on projects, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and innovation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and excellence within the team.

Your Expertise:

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in C++ and C# programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with WinForms, Microsoft Foundation Class, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise collaboration within the team.
  • A strong aptitude for learning and adapting to evolving team practices and standards.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges.
  • Effective teamwork and idea-sharing skills, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Familiarity with REST API development and unit testing methodologies.
