Role Overview
As we continue to expand our sales team across the EMEA region, we are in search of a driven Sales VP who possesses a hunter mentality to cultivate new business opportunities within the middle market. This position requires a proactive approach to securing new DSPs, agencies, and brand partnerships through the sale of managed services, programmatic solutions, creative offerings, and programmatic curation.
Your contribution will be crucial in our growth journey as we navigate our second year of operations in the EMEA. You will assist in refining our messaging, materials, and offerings to align with client requirements in the Connected TV (CTV) sector. Your role will involve maximizing revenue potential from prospective clients while ensuring that these partnerships yield reciprocal value and service from our organization.
This position will adapt and evolve in tandem with the dynamic landscape of programmatic advertising. You will have the opportunity to participate in local and national events and conferences to stay abreast of the latest industry trends. Your innovative approach will be essential in serving our brand and agency partners while infusing your personal style into these relationships.
What You'll Do
Establish a robust and strategic pipeline of DSPs, agency, and brand accounts. Demonstrate consistent and precise forecasting abilities when presenting new business opportunities to executive leadership.
- Engage in impactful meetings with prospects and clients, demonstrating a strong desire to understand their business as if it were your own.
- Maintain comprehensive records, document all interactions, and arrive prepared for meetings with sales updates.
- Become a trusted advisor to your prospects and clients, fostering relationships throughout their organization.
- Formulate effective strategies and proposals, collaborating closely with internal teams, and adjusting sales tactics to meet the changing demands of the market.
- As a startup, you will be expected to ideate, create, and deliver your proposals. While account management will support you, this will be a critical aspect of your role in the initial year.
- Collaborate with your analysis and operations teams to enhance support for prospective clients.
What You'll Bring
- Over 10 years of experience in Ad Tech/Programmatic sales, with a proven track record in selling CTV.
- A well-established network of contacts within Hold Co and Independent agencies, along with strong strategies for immediate revenue impact.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is preferred.
- A history of consistently meeting or exceeding new business and revenue targets.
- Experience achieving $5m+ in annual revenue targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, programmatic technology, and a comprehensive understanding of the components related to Connected TV, showcasing technical expertise in the programmatic supply chain.
